After a fruitful discussion, we decided to work on a light double-breasted blazer, which can be easily worn in the summertime and combined with lightweight trousers. It was important that the blazer would be classic, with peak lapels, and a bit sporty at the same time. Therefore, we agreed on doing some patch pockets instead of the traditional flap pockets. There are no golden buttons to make sure the jacket stays sporty.

Working with Peter was a pure pleasure; during all the individual fittings, I even learned a lot about the craftsmanship of a tailor. He always tried to create the jacket as I wanted but also told me if my ideas were not the best and were not durable. This is an essential part as we fashionistas always have things in mind we want to have, whether it is about new garments, but sometimes it needs to be clarified.

But this was when the idea of having a long and extensive moustache was born. I wanted to grow a signature moustache, something unique and traditional at the same time. In the past, it was more common to have outstanding beards, especially moustaches.

I had my long beard and moustache for almost four years before I decided to cut my beard but not my moustache. I loved having this particular beard style as it was so polarising and unique. Getting my moustache styled was quite a lot of work, but I liked it. Working as a farmer often made my moustache full of dust and dirt.

The final decision to shorten my moustache or, better, to almost remove it came by the end of 2023. I wanted to have something new but cool at the same time. So I decided to go for a short and slim stache.

We usually grow about twenty hectares of wheat on our farm, besides some other crops like barley, rapeseed, corn and hops. But let us talk about the wheat business. We always sow our wheat in autumn, as we grow winter wheat. It means the crops are out in the fields during wintertime. The plants must be frozen for a specific time to get good yields. When spring comes, they restart growing, and we will feed them with fertilizers to ensure they can develop robust roots and fruitful ears. Some rain and lots of sun will ensure that we can harvest our crops in August. It means it takes about eleven months to grow good wheat that can be used for baking.

If we harvest the grains, we cooperate with a contractor who owns several combines. When the grains are dry enough for harvest, we let him know, and he will send one of his machines and one of his workers to our farm. It takes a long working day to get all the individual fields harvested. We use our tractors and trailers to transport the grains to the storage bins on our farm.

After the harvest season, we will look deeply at the stock market to determine the best time to sell the grains. If we sold it, mainly to an elevator close by, we reload the wheat grains and deliver it to the buyer.

To ensure the empty fields will be in good condition for the following crops, we will cultivate the soil directly after the harvest season and plant some cover crops. The subsequent crops could be corn, barley and rape seed.

Of course, I do have the same challenge, and where should I put my hands if I do not need them to work, phone, eat and so forth. I usually carry a briefcase or a small weekender if I am around the city, and this is a neat way of stowing away at least one of your both hands. But I find it even better and more elegant if I carry an umbrella. It is a kind of substitute for the walking stick. It keeps your body upright, and you will look much more elegant. If it rains, it will protect you from the water. Of course, I do not carry a brolly if it is a sunny day and no rain will appear.

It seems to be a new business etiquette, attending a meeting without wearing a jacket and a tie. It is something I do not support, and I do for sure not follow this kind of business style. For me, a necktie is still an essential part of the men’s outfit and it still shows that the attendees of a meeting respect the time and effort of the others. And by the way, a tie is the best accessory to give your look a new twist.

People will remember you if you wear an extraordinary tie. It is the same as with lapel pins. If you attend a meeting, a conference or even a private come together, and you want to stand out of the crowd, add a specific thing to your outfit. And this particular thing can be a necktie.

One of my favourite brands for neckties is Windsor, Silvio Fiorello and Dignito. Of course, there are many more great ones available, and everybody has and should have their preferences.

The last year’s season was so good and fruitful that I decided to do it again this year. I collected more information about how to grow tomatoes and about how to keep the plants in good condition. I learned about effective microorganisms and some natural fertilizers, which I currently use in my vegetable garden. It works very well, and I even started to apply some of these products in my hop gardens, and my plants out there are looking fantastic.

But why is gardening a kind of lifestyle? I noticed that many people here in my area have their gardens and are producing their food. And these people are mostly connected, and they share their experiences, success stories, and failures. It is great to see how motivated they are and how intensively they research to get some information about how to do it better and about how to solve some minor plant issues. It is great to see how they follow their passion and how gardening is fulfilling their lives.

It was a hot summer day, and the main square in Cracow was full of tourists and locals who wanted to have a great evening out in the city. The atmosphere there was unique, a mix out of summer night, party and elegantly dressed people. And I thought the same, like Steffen Möller. How can girls be so pretty like girls in Poland? From that point in time onwards, I regularly travelled to Poland, studied the Polish language, and still travel to Poland whenever I have time to do so. Poland became a part of my life, and I would not want to miss this country. And if you love to read great books, please read the book “Viva Polonia” written by Steffen Möller.

For many years, I wanted to try on a beret, but I never did it. So many hat shops do even not offer it. Of course, because not so many hat lovers go for a beret, as it is a unique headpiece. A beret may be a unique headpiece, but as special it is, as easy it is.

You can combine a beret with almost every outfit, and there is no rule on how to wear it. Just put it on your hat and give it the shape you like. If you do not know which form you should give it, put it on and leave it as it is. It will always look good. If it is a windy day, leave your lovely fedora hat home and go for a walk together with your beret. And if your outfit needs to get a bit more colourful, wear a beret with a preppy colour.

If you are not too sure, if you can go out of the house, wearing a beret, I recommend you to start with a subtle colour like dark blue or camel. I promise you will immediately feel the power of your new headpiece. People will notice you and they will like your new and outstanding look.

The biggest challenge was packing all your shirts in a suitcase, getting on a plane, and having good-looking shirts afterwards, when you are at the final destination. I do not want to know how often I was on stage, wearing a wrinkled shirt. I often discussed this with a salesperson at one of my favourite shops in Munich city centre. He is a well-dressed man who knows how to dress up and knows what’s essential for frequent travellers like I were at that time.

He highly recommended wearing shirts from Eton*. He promised that the shirt’s wrinkles would disappear if you will wear the shirts for about half an hour. I know this will work with many other shirts, too. But I have never seen and worn a dress shirt that does this like an Eton* shirt. On top of this, you will get a decent length of the sleeves and a well-looking collar that stays well looking all day long.
